k orientation was lame la.. like so useless.. the sec 1s also like not v interested by our performance lolz.. then gotta come school so early just to play for them summore. lol.
uh anw.. like some preparation for our concert bah.
so after playing we had our lunch lol. what an interesting lunch man.. salt soaked beehoon with a piece of overnight chicken wing, another salt soaked sausage, a piece of otah, and a fishball lol.
whoa. best lunch i've ever had man.. haha us perc ate until wanna die alr cause it's so darn salty. lol.

then arnd 1+ we left school and went to sch.. and it's like piang.. stupid lorry so little space to put our stuffs lol. ah wdv. so we went to sch. whee.
okay let's just talk bout the concert itself. lol thunder and lightning was first man. like piang sooo darn stressing. like the grand openin of El Minstrel VII. woot. the whole perc was like scared like shit lol. ah anw.. i think we rocked the solo man.. woot. it's like super super nice.. no obvious mistakes lol.. =p but i first beat come in wrong alr lol.. hah.
man i can't stress more on how great it was =D
lol aft thunder we all relax alr.. hah.. the big stress over liao.. left the other not so stressing songs. xD
okay Novena was super nice.. thanks to my pro juniors. Hey jude gt quite alot more feel. woot Mengjit, well done =D. then Golden age.. hmm.. no comments lol.. but i think the trombones quite power sia. ;D
then it was under the sea! heh it still sounded a lil wierd leh.. and i made a mistake lol.. but somehow managed to cover up. heh =) but anw, it's still our perc solo and it's still as great. =D
then came Cherry.. seriousy, LOL. it was totally screwed.. even i screwed lol. tt's going to be our choice piece man.. lol. nvm.. 4 more months.. jiayou everyone.. lol.
then was flow like a riverr.. hah. the emcees were spazzing away lol. i thought that was quite lame. lol. anw tt piece was kinda okay la. good job Van =)
and highschool was like super cool. heh. i got into a lil high mood alr cause i know my stress is gone alr.. lol. but me and chong were like rushing like mad ppl at our solo lol.. haha nvm.. it sounded nicer faster. lol.
woot. first half was great.
but second half was better man. the alumni was great. esp perc hehehe.. xD
and Satchmo was great too.. i played well i think.. lol.. tt song gt sentimental value or wdv u call it lol.
then it was Dancin Megahits!!! the beststest best i've heard in my life!!! woot. i tell u zhiwei practically rocked the whole song.. and everyone was highing away.. hah! friggin cooooll.. and now my hand pain liao.. frm bongos lol. but i wanna play it again. so friggin nice.. double woot =D
i don't think if we prepared it for one of our concert songs it would be as nice as ytd man. =D

k tdy i went for combined and alumni prac.
tdy gt better attendance lol, which is good. there was Amanda, Koshing, Jevon.. and Jin Xian. like walau.. i stress the word walau, another friggin pro drummer. k he's like 28-29 alr? and lols he claims he hasn't touch the drumset for like 7 yrs alr, but once he sat down it's like walau agn lol. and know wt? this is the first time i ever heard someone playing to warmups. like lol, he even made the warmups sound nice lol. friggin pro.
then his playing like cao hiong.. typical of pro drummers lol. like the whole songs' his solo lol.
and i noticed that both him and zhiwei play like quite similar liddat. think zhiwei told me b4 that jin xian was his shifu sorta thing lol.
gosh i wanna be like em. xD

and then auld lang syne was super crappy. like man. stupid chim piano score.. i feel kinda dumb that we can't even play a one-handed part with two hands! hah! k mj and chong, we kinda need u lol! it's super complicated.
piano ppl are spas man, it's so much more complicated than drs lol.

hmm had to wake up so early, bout 6.25. then had this stupid bread roll thingy for breakfast, it was so hard and chewy that it took me ages to finish it lol. resulted me in being 3 mins late! hah.

actually tdy's band didn't start off so nicely.. i cao no feel man.. esp the golden age lolz. how sad.

and oh, what a sense of acheivement i have for setting up the tree today with my sis! double yay =D
lol i didn't know just setting up one stupid tree was soo tiring lolz.. but we managed, plus the lil deco on the tree, and arnd the house lol. hah, we wanted to hang deco like practically on every place that we could hook something, lol it made my mum mad xD
i'll take and upload a pic of it someday, not now cause there ain't any prezzies under it yet.. so what's the point hah!

okay, our concert is really really coming real soon man. it's just another 19 days.. ain't alot.. bout 7 more pracs.. kay so to the band, and to perc, pls switch to yr concert modes now, let's just concentrate and focus these 2 weeks x)

her visit to the band rm made me realise what perc was like, to ppl frm the outside.
i realised that we weren't that organized,that we weren't that certain or confident of our playing yet.
k no doubt everyone knows how to play yea, but are we really making 'nice' music, knowing what it really takes to play a piece nicely, or to support the band? wonder if i've been of any help at all to my section, wonder if i've even been a good sl.. uh i guess not..
i realised that for quite awhile i have been pointing out my section's mistakes, trying to improve as a whole and stuff.. but there suddenly doesn't seem to be anybody to point out My mistakes and stuff.. dunno, but i really wonder if my own playing is up to standard. i realised that it's easy to play any piece, but it takes alot.. so much more to make it really sound nice, to give u that sense of satisfaction after u play, knowing that u've played well.
i wish that somebody would just be able to throw some light on my own standard and help me improve, like a tutor of some sort. sometimes i feel at a loss, not really knowing how to improve.. sometimes i feel so inferior when i hear other drummers. like ARG i still need to improve so much more than i thought..
dunno.. mayb i'm still lacking the confidence in my playing, but owells, hope i can make this last concert of mine a nice and memorable one. =))

anw, cont to work hard perc, y'all have got the potential.. just have the confidence to play, and u'll be fine!

seriously this is the funnest chalet ever lol.. better than 3k de. hah.
okies lemme just crap abt wt i did. =)

first day was city slickers. like yay?
k i reached our "vet" at like 10.20 liddat.. thought junhan wld be there alr since i was like 5 mins late? lol nvm apparently i was kinda early. so slack there, watch all the old folks hang arnd until he came, then slack summore until all the groups came.
k it was seriously lame la, all the grps so gan chiong dunno for wad.. count until so luan, then gotta recount so many times. hah how sad. then fining the photo thingy was fine.. nobody came rushing back to us lol. then was the meal thingy.. haha. frm this experience i don't think i would like to dine in any of my band members' restaurant or smth if they have one.. like woot..first was rechelle's grp and their plain pizza.. like -_- haha. they're the only grp that needed to do the meals thingy twice. okay then for another i got some macaroni with spaghetti sauce and fishballs.. like walau. nice combinaton eh. o.O
so we finished kinda early and we went to chongning's station. hmm nth much there, just had some baked rice thingy for lunch.. super cool =D
then aft tt if i'm not wrong junhan and i zao back to chalet to slp.. walau it's like so new, cause we were the first there besides tingting lol. so yay we got new beds and nice pillows until van jan and mianmian came and kachiao us grr..
aft that , van and mj had their station at the bbq pit, and then we played big fish and small fish!!! hah super fun man! then we went for dinner at the food court. it was then that joel started the egg yolk thingy. walau super sick man.. dunno why they find hard boiled egg yolks so sick. the topics then shifted to other foodstuff like lady's finger and bittergourd and stuff.. lol super funny man.
aft that we went to the arcade! haha. it was like super fun la. and van was highing abt the photo thingy.. lol. apparently it's like super addictive la.. and she landed up with forty bucks in her card lol! so it became a mini band game with everyone crowding arnd 1 spas machine, and van doing her job keeping up the mood lol..and we played until thearcade closed. yay it was real fun.
then we zao back to our rm, and play mahjong! lol. but sad la, no luck man, so we went to slp. hah.
nxt mornin i had "breakfast in bed".. and it was pau! haha.. okay thanks alot yingsi =D
then we slacked till noon, and went to collect stay with joel junhan and rechelle. lol we took this super weird short bus, which had a super spas route. so we collected our frozen stays, and zao back to chalet agn lol.
then we had bbq. lol we took ages to start the fire because mainly we didn't know how to do it well, and we were playing arnd with the charcoal lol. so the bbq started.
and ah. i think this bbq is the only one where i really ate a real meal lol. i had two plated of beehoon, some sausages and marshmellows =)))
okay that reminds me of camilla's chubby bunny lol. it's like soo sick.. u gotta stuff as many marshmellows in yr mouth and be able to say chubby bunny. point is, u end up being one haha.
i only managed 3 lol.
aft that we went to the arcade again haha! but this time not as much qi fen lol, we like zao v fast liddat.
aha when we got back most of the ppl were slping alr, then we camp outside the toilet and play big fish and small fish agn lol. super spas. i actually intended to slp tt night la, but then aft bathing the sec 3s were playing cards .. so interesting lol. but we only played till 4am, then some ppl went to slp and left camilla vanessa shuhan junhan and me lol. we also wanted to slp alr, but the room was full house, plus it stank. =\ so we landed up at some farny shelter lol..
but then nobody slept man.. all because of those 3 farny girls.. like grr. so hyper dunno for wad, start roaming arnd and depriving us of our sleep lol. so in the end nobody slept. and since it was like 5+ alr we went to the beach to catch the sunrise =D
hah it was like super cool.. i nv go to the beach like so early to catch the sunrise b4. and we were like 5 homeless ppl stoning on the stone thingy at the beach lol. so nice and peaceful la.. and the ship lights are so nice! anw it was so chilly.. =but walau. in the end u know wt? since we couldn't indetify where the east and west was, we didn't catch the sunrise la! argh!.. we were like facing the opposite direction, looking at the sky getting brighter lol. anw the tress were totally blocking our view even if we were looking in the right direction lol.
so we wasted that trip. heh. zao back to the room agn lol, and everybody plonked and the beds and slept.. grr. i didn't want to sleep cause not much time to sleep so if u slp liddat u'll feel like puking when u wake up. so van and me stone in the rm.. and then we went to brush our teeth to make ourselves more awake. apparently it workd for a few mins only lol. so then van started eating chips and sipping coffee. but apparently it didn't work too.. she went to slp in the end.. -_-
by then it was alr so early, and nobody was awake man.. so i went downstairs to stone at the bbq pit. stone until i decided to go home since nobody was waking up lol.

so yay i'm back home =)) haha reached home arnd 9+ and slept frm 10 until 4.30 man.. lol. oh before that i had a bowl of noodles.. with egg in it! haha!

aww back to normal life alr, need to chiong more hw. ARG.
and i'm gonna get summore sleep soon..
