hm. tdy is the 1 week anniversary of ahband's syf '07.
plus it's the last day of syf '07 central judging for secondary school concert bands.. oo.
guess wt man.. there r only 19 gold bands, with 3 gwh.
hah. the distinct top 3 alr sia.
and woot.. amkss =)) feel kinda happy for my friend there. pro man.
anw gratz to all the bands who did well, and encourage those who didn't do that well.
this season of syf is really nuts. it's like 3/4 of all the bands fell in standards. hundreds of ppl are like super disappointed man.. and gallons of tears were shed. but dunno, like some ppl in the forums say.. it's a festival, just to judge how gd u r.. it ain't a competition.
but like LOL, though this may be true, but how would u expect bands nt to feel anyth or wdv, and just treat this like some sorta fun thingo.. then aft tt u get a grade and woot? lol. it's competitive man.. this uh. world.?
dunno man.. suddenly feel super sad agn for all those band ppl in ahband as well as out there who put in such a commendable amount of effort just for this 'festival'. it's really really amazing what music can do. don't understand why concert bands are more special, if u'd say, comparing to other ccas and activities.. which u do just for fun man.
however i feel that most ppl dun understand the joy and the passion and why on earth u put in so much friggin effort? they think everything in life's like what they do everyday, which requires little, if not no devotion or passion or wdv. they think your time should be spent on something more impt, smth which they think is more impt.. freak man.
feeling like a complete idiot with no life everyday man. what band's over and exams are starting shit. ya la. same thing man.. u only want us to do what u think is impt. hah. if the world revolved arnd u, tt is.
doh. not everything's what u want man.
u have your goals, we have ours. they're two entirely different things, and u gotta realise that.

anw on a brighter side, i had the band rm to myself tdy! and woot uber fun just groovin myself on tha drumset =DD won't be touchin it for a very very long time =((
