alriight, i ish back from my first day at work!
yer, i did some part time thingo today at the esplanade, those reception kinda thing.
well from the start, i kinda rushed out of the house at 1 cause i was running late lol.
took a bus to the mrt and then to city hall, where i met my sis' friends
yer i worked with them lol.. so kool eh, they're a great buncha people. :D
oh anyway there was this lecherous old man on the mrt hahhh.. cause there was this lady who was wearing some fugly top which was bareback, it looked like a piece of cloth tarzan would wear -.- okay so she was standing in the middle of the cabin, and the lecherous old man HAD to sit behind her and steal glances LOL.
k i was like laughing at him luh. mm but that's not the point.
so yeah met them bunch and headed down to the esplanade, did all the standard stuff like obtain passes and change and prepare.. lol the uniform thingo looks pretty good, just that mine's like figure-hugging man. those poops think i vvvv thin sia. anw too bad i dont have a pic of it, cause i think we look good in it! rofl :)
so everything started off by doing a whole ton of sai gang, as expected luh.. must prepare everything then bai mei mei mah..
anw we did those kinda reception/refreshment style thingo. there was actually this bboy & ballerina concert going on (like wowwwww so cool eh ;D), and yer there were the normal concert-goers and a batch of vips (which included some lil' kiddies, ive no idea why)
the reception was for the vips duh, and when the concert ended we were told to GUARD the food from the normal ppl haha like rofl. so yeah it's hilarious, we were like protecting our territory or smth.
well then came all the dua pais. *plays fanfare* eh like i said there were alot of young fellas lol.
yeah so after that there wasn't anything much, clearing plates and glasses wasn't that freakky as i thought (:
lol initially i was like terrified of the glasses cause they're like so unstable when you carry them with the stoopid tray that can flip like any moment! but yeh it was pretty good, lol i didnt dare carry like alot at one go if not i think ill just drop them haha.
oh while clearing up i burnt my fingers like !"%^$&£
cause i was helping to clear those trays with the stand that you use to put food, and there were two tins of wax flames thingo below them to keep them warm. yer k so silly me didnt know that those innocent looking tins were like friggin hot la. genius me decided to remove them from below by using his bare hands -.-
k so ouch, my middle finger and thumb got burnt rofl.
mm so yer after that was clearing up, wah seh we had to shift a whole ton of things man. up and down some stoopid tiny lift with the security guard complaining that we'll overload the lift roflmao x)
sheesh it reminds me of how we shift all our bulky band instruments like crazy. oh ya and all the rooms inside the esplanade reminds me of ahs' 50th anniversary concert! when i first reached i was like whoaw cool, performance later sia! haha lol.
okay SO we were eventually done with all the clearing up, double woots (:
decided to go chompchomp to eat (what kind of name is that!?), no idea why. but it reminds my of mr shawn goh weiyi. cause he's always promoting his chompchomp! but it's all the way in serangoon la, like some ulu pandan place in the middle of nowhere.
k we didnt get to eat until like 830 man, and my stomach was already doing somersaults =/
and CHEH, all the hype and whooha over chompchomp is not really worthwhile eh..
the entire place is engulfed in smoke it stung my nostrils the whole time i was eating lol.
k la but the food's okay, the chikkin wings are friggin good =D (lol i initially typed chicken winds! rofl)
wah their business is like superrrrr good man. next time i can go sell chicken wings and earn big bucks too LOL x)
headed down to some ulu playground at some ulu place in the middle of ulu pandan serangoon after that, thanks to my sis' friends who are all like a year older than me, but are more playful and active and wdv than my own buncha friends haha!
hah 100% funny man, we indulged in all the childhood games at the playground like ice & water and pepsi cola and hopscotch (-.-) and old eagle catch small chicks (lao ying zhua xiao ji)! k it was friggin hilarious la, a buncha us all dressed in black pants and white long sleeves running around some playground in the middle of the night. lol.
there was this couple at the bench facing the playground smooching away, and i think it was so awkward with us running around like some crazy poops lol. haha and they left a short while later, needless to explain =))))
by the first hour we were all drenched right through our skin from running arnd lol.
k la it's like wth i cant imagine i was doing all that old stuff man. we should make it a regular thing. it's good excercise you know :)
played till like 1130, and we had to leave if not we wouldn't be able to catch the last bus rofl.
yer so that wraps up my wonderfully wonderful saturday. my sis' friends are such a nice & crabby & crappy bunch lol!
