whoaw this week had been pretty tiring,
i've been feeling drowsy and sleepy like 24 hours a day.

BRRR IT'S BEEN RAINING AGAIN TODAY
non-stop showers for the entire afternoon makes a good atmosphere for taking a well-deserved nap!

went for service in the morning, which was yet again an extremely soul-searching one.
but nevertheless, it's still good to be refreshed again for the start of the week yer :)
had a really sumptuous lunch after service with my family at some dim sum restaurant!
our initial plan was to go somewhere else, but it started raining heavily, so we landed up somewhere around marina lol.
well good thing anyway, cause the food was really really fabulous :D just that they had alot to improve on their lousy service haha.
k but that aint the point.
food is good for the soul yer!
after that was supposedly a mini shopping spree with my sister, but we only managed ONE zara outlet at marina! gah.
anw zara has a ton of really great apparels, which has just instilled a desire for more moolah in me lol. (k i just did a gp compre on money inspiring greed. shucks i feel guilty =/)
i saw a really cool pf cho hat lookalike which was v cheap!
darn i wanted to buy it, but i figured it'd make me look too poser-like, lol.

wau and im watching the closing ceremony of the Beijing olympic games right now, and i have to say it's really marvellous :D
lol all the money they spent on it has really paid off i guess.
but mayb it's a little extravagant yer, well i think.
haha i bet London's feeling the pressure of hosting the next olympic games already!
woots, i hope 2012's olympics will be even better! it would be great if i coukd travel there and watch yer! cause by then i would have just completed national service haha.

brrr.. today is a chilly day.
it's been raining since the morning and all through the afternoon.
=/
but lol it's an extremely productive day, much to my amazement (:
well i completed my cheena essay ( i think i took 2 hours for the remaining half of it, as usual)
and i did some gp and chem revision! whoaw i feel accomplished hoho.

ultimate : my family temporarily became the Heah carpenters when we tried to fix up a mirror in my room lol. my dad being the handyman as usual, took delight in the oppurtunity to use his tools. anw my mum and i helped out, and we helped to take measurements to where to position the mirror (it's on the inner panel of my cupboard anw..).
haha but it's amazing how much nonsense can arise just from trying to put up a mirror -.-
cause somehow my dad positioned the mirror too far out and my cupboard couldn't close LOL.
k i bet my mum's face was like -.-
lol so we had to shift it further in.
well of course we managed to put it up in the end, but now it's a bit tilted to one side! so when i need to view myself in the mirror i have to stand at a slanted angle! HAHAA k im kiddin bout the standing thing yer, lol.
and guess what, i cant see the top half of my head, like from my eyebrows onwards, cause we didnt want to place it too high up to suit my sister's *cough* height.. -.-
k it's pretty weird. if i want to see my hair i have to do some sorta half-squat?? lol! nice one.

ohhman and the 10 o'clock cheena show is ending soon!!!

darn, it's a really awesome drama serial, cause i rarely (yes i really mean rarely) get stuck on watching silly cheena dramas.

allriight sweeeet, happy Singapore day! =D

mm there were celebrations yesterday which were like zzzzzzz..
had to wake up at a whopping 5.30am just to get my arz to school. lol.
and the entire parade ended so fast, like within half an hour!
haha there were some pretty major screw ups, but overall it was fine i guess.
after the parade we had to stay back to watch the wonderful concert where they friggin tried to squeeze the entire college into the hall. and i mean the ENITRE COLLEGE.
amazing how they plan for events sometimes.
well obviously there wasn't enough space, so us band peeps had to forgo the concert.
well not that we wanted to attend it in the first place anw. :D
ridiculous thing is some chers obviously didnt realise that the hall couldn't take any more of us and still tried to stuff us in. -.-
please. no ideal gas law here man. we DO take up space..
aft that, when everyone was released at like 10+, us lt2 econs students had to stay back and friggin wait for 12.30 just to attend a lecture. -.-
it's amazing how these lecturers grab whatever chance they get to give us more lectures.
okay so swt, i blew away an entire morning. =/

had a 4k gathering after that, which was the ultimate!
yer haven't seen all those wonderfulllll people in a long while, though i realised that there's a majority of them in tj.. LOL.
initially wanted to watch the Dark Knight, but all those noggers watched it already -.-
wah they seem to have so much time lol.
so we landed up walking to some ulu pandan istana park area and plonked ourselves down under some apparently-beautiful-and-private-but-spoilt-by-dozens-of-sleeping-people-area.
lol yer. plus there was this guy who rolled up his shirt and slept on some bench (that's bad enough).. and was snoring at a whopping 198353624 decibels.
seriously, i take my hat off to that dood, whom i think may have just broken the guiness world record for the loudest snore ever.
haha we all initially thought it was some noisy fan or smth. k it's pretty disturbing cause his snore was kinda distorted too HAHA.
ewh then there was another sleeping beauty.. uh, rather, sleeping prince who decided to have his toilet break out of nowhere. -.-
and guess what, he conveniently walked into some forested area nearby and relieved himself.
yuck.
walked arnd more and snapped away with each others' cams lol. oh yer not forgetting to mention we got chased away twice -.-
stoopid poops didnt allow us to take pictures in their oh-so-wonderful territories. plus we were like outside a cinema.. like helllooo what sacred place is that such that we can't have your beautiful pillars and posters in our photos huh?

and yer we took the train home, well at the worst of times cause it was like the peak period, and again, you get all the typical kiasu singaporeans who press their bags against your asses and attempt with all their might just to get a spot in the already packed train. -.-
so us clever ppl decided to be them for awhile (not that we wanted to), and stuck our faces (k not literally) to the train doors hahahahaha. =D
soon came the train and there was this teenage girl holding a humongous golden star balloon. so us clever ppl once again randomly decided to wish her a happy birthday. hahaha and guess what, the balloons were for national day.. =______________=
k nvm we got pwned again. rofl.
what a day, but im back to doing work again. zz.

just came back from tjcsb alumni concert
Symphonique 2008.
lol i hope i spelt it correctly. (:
anyway, us year ones had to help out as ushers and stage crew.
well i slogged like nuts today from morning till night, shifting instruments alllll the way lol.
my hands are now red and sore =/
and i think i can do about 2 or 3 more pull-ups already haha!
yer it was reallllly tiring.
but anyway, the alumni band was friggin good, no doubt!
their sound was like.. yer double woots man.
they played POTC fantastically well, enjoyed it alot =D
overall i was like half-suffering during the entire concert cause of a bloody flu that became so bad i couldn't even open my shrinking eyes or breathe properly. lol.
but somehow despite all the poop during the entire day, i think i enjoyed myself during the whole process.
well mayb i got to see some fireworks and the heart-shaped aerial formation which was like wauuu.
but k that's not the main thing lol. i guess the alumni were all pretty nice and jovial, much to my surprise!
well there were some pre-concert scares, which i shant mention, so the mood wasn't really there initially.
but heyhey, much to my surprise the alumni were pretty much friendly, and it was seriously a joy to uh.. "work" for them!
lol yes. work for them.
ah well.. im really glad they enjoyed themselves, and i hope us stage crew did too!
a big thanks to them for having to recieve my rubbish mails and yer, for the day's hard hard work itself!
and to suat lynn too, even though i still have no idea who you are, LOL.. but thanks for liasing with the comm and me to pass info and stuff yer. :)
